Green will be responsible for managing and expanding Zeal Instant Games, the company’s online gaming arm, when he starts in the middle of this month.

He has most recently led channel operations in the UK for Allwyn, which now operates the UK National Lottery.

Green’s current role working in digital delivery and content operations, retail and supply chain comes after 11 years at Camelot, the previous operator of the UK’s lottery before the transition in February this year.

As well as lottery operations, Green was head of Instant Games at Camelot for two years and built on that experience in other roles.

“I am very much looking forward to assuming responsibility for ZEAL's online games business,” Green said.

“Zeal has already achieved great success in the relatively short time since launching online games, and I look forward to working with the team to strategically grow revenues.”

Green’s experience with online games in the lottery environment “is exactly what we need to establish ourselves in the market in the medium and long term, and to grow our business sustainably,” said Zeal CEO Helmut Becker.

“We are proud to have exactly the right candidate on board in Alex to help our games business achieve even stronger growth with a unique value proposition.”
