Mass Lottery Launches the GAME of THRONES™ Instant Ticket

DORCHESTER, MA (August 6, 2024) – The Massachusetts State Lottery today is launching a GAME OF THRONES™ instant ticket, featuring instant grand prizes of $500,000 and Second Chance Drawings in which 20 winners will be awarded a trip for two to Napa Valley, California in the fall of 2025.

While in Napa Valley, all trip winners will have a chance to participate in THE SEVEN KINGDOMS EXPERIENCE Event to win a shared prize ranging from $25,000 up to $7,000,000.

Trip winners will be randomly selected from non-winning tickets submitted into Second Chance Drawings. There will be five Second Chance Drawings, and four trip winners will be chosen in each drawing. Trip packages include:

• Roundtrip airfare for two
• Ground transfers between destination Airport and destination hotels
• Three nights at a 4-star or better hotel in Napa
• One night at a 4-star or better hotel in San Francisco
• $1,000 spending money
• Admission for Prizewinner and guest to the Welcome Reception
• Access to a variety of curated tours and activities in and around California’s Napa Valley
• Admission on the Napa Wine Train
• Admission to Event venue for the Prizewinner and guest
• Prizewinner will have one chance to participate in THE SEVEN KINGDOMS EXPERIENCE to win a shared prize from $25,000 up to $7,000,000

There are three $500,000 instant grand prizes available in the game. One additional $500,000 prize winner will be selected in a Final Bonus Drawing at the end of the game. Other instant prizes range from $5 to $5,000. In each of the five Second Chance Drawings, one $10,000 prize and twenty-two $500 prizes will also be awarded.

Headlining the top half of the instant ticket is the bold GAME OF THRONES™ logo, which sits atop of the iconic Iron Throne. The ticket is printed on special platinum stock, with four different GAME OF THRONES™ symbols: House Baratheon, House Lannister, House Stark, and House Targaryen.

The GAME OF THRONES™ instant ticket is a key number match style game, containing four “Winning Numbers” and 12 “Your Numbers.” If one or more of “Your Numbers” match the “Winning Numbers,” the player wins the corresponding amount. The game’s overall prize payout is 76.5 percent and the odds of winning a prize are 1 in 4.20.
