"Both this year and next, those increased Scratch-off sales are making a big impact," said Kentucky Lottery President and CEO Tom Delacenserie. "We listened to players and made changes in prize structures to which they're responding. We also changed our media approach and have new plan execution in place at retail, all of which combine to really drive this product." Delacenserie also said Keno is in a growth pattern, surpassing Powerball sales in the state. "People have really embraced Keno wholeheartedly," he said.

Over the more than three decades since the National Lottery was founded it has generated more than €5 billion for a wide variety of good causes spanning many different categories and interests across the length and breadth of Ireland.
"We don't want to be late to the game," Treasurer Deborah Goldberg said. "The way I articulate it to people is, the last thing I want to be is Toys R Us. Going online is critical in continuing to maintain profits, stay relevant — and when I talk profits, remember, it's local aid.
"In anticipation of the Supreme Court's ruling on PASPA, we have been working with our long time sports providers Scientific Games and William Hill, as well as training our lottery and casino staff, so that we were ready to launch full-scale, head-to-head betting on single games," said Vernon Kirk, director of the Delaware Lottery.
