WyoLotto celebrates on Aug. 24, 2024, a legendary decade of serving Wyoming. “We are Wyoming grown, and we love this state. It is truly a great place to call home,” said Jon Clontz, WyoLotto CEO. Clontz has been with WyoLotto since the founding of the company when the WyoLotto Board of Directors hired him in 2013 to open the lottery in Wyoming.

Of Fiscal Year 2024's total sales, $3.07 billion came from online games and $2.45 billion came from retail sales, said, John Hagerty, Senior Public Affairs Specialist, Virginia Lottery. This is the first time online ticket sales have surpassed in-person retail sales in a U.S. state lottery.

Our goal is to increase the share of healthy revenue through upcoming measures that strengthen consumer protection around our games, says Anna Johnson, president and CEO of Svenska Spel.   The goal is to detect in time when gambling goes from being controlled to becoming more risky so that we can prevent it from developing into problem gambling

Andria Vidler, the chief executive of Allwyn, said "there is a need for change. The Lottery has “aged,” adding that the typical player today is an affluent male in his mid-40s to 50s.  Central to this plan is the integration of artificial intelligence, which Vidler believes will transform the offer by providing personalised insights on how Lottery funds support causes relevant to each player.

James Porteous of the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), said “we’ve found over the last two years technology has turbocharged illegal betting.” illegal firms have zero regulatory overheads and zero concerns about reputational or ethical considerations about how they attract customers and to boost their turnover, he added."
